Share 4 Life Foundation, Inc. is Hiring a Remote Grant Writer

We are only currently accepting applicants in the Tri-State Area (NY, CT, NJ).

Job Title: Grant Writer

The Share 4 Life Foundation is a Non-Profit Organization seeking an experienced Grant Writer to research and identify potential grant opportunities, write grant proposals, and manage the grant application process. As a Grant Writer, you will work closely with our development team to create compelling grant proposals that align with Share 4 Life's mission of providing resources, education, and information to at-risk youth and families living at or below poverty levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential grant opportunities through Grant Station and other sources
  • Write and submit grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and government agencies
  • Manage the grant application process, including tracking deadlines and submitting all required documentation
  • Work collaboratively with our development team to create compelling proposals that align with Share 4 Life's mission and programs
  • Maintain accurate records of grant proposals, submissions, and outcomes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with funders and grant-making organizations

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of grant writing, including samples.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Non-profit Management, or other writing-intensive field.
  • Strong research, writing, and editing skills.
  • Ability to interpret and present complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with grant databases and search engines, including Grant Station and Passport.
  • Knowledge of the non-profit sector and understanding of fundraising best practices.

Location: This position is primarily remote, but there may be occasional required in-person meetings in New York City.

Rate: $25 per hour. 10 hours per week.
